Britain’s Wealthiest Are Wealthier Than Ever Before

18/05/2014

Britain’s wealthiest are wealthier than ever before  with a combined fortune of almost £520billion according to the Sunday Times Rich list with the Hinduja brothers top of the list with a combined fortune of £11.9billion. The total wealth of the 1000 richest people in Britain jumped 15% in one year. This comes a couple of weeks after we were told that there are more billionaires living in Britain than ever before. Can you imagine how angry, how sick I felt this morning when I read this bullshit as the nation’s poorest are suffering hardships through needless austerity?Wealth expert Philip Beresford said “the richest people in Britain have had an astonishing year. While some may criticise them, many of these people are at the heart of the economy and their success brings more jobs and wealth to the country.”

It is this kind of warped thinking that fuels all our problems, without sounding like Vladmir Lenin it is the indebted workers of this country that are the heart of the economy, as they are the heart of any economy. As I have said before we live with two economies, the debt economy in which the majority of us live and then there is the stock market economy which is completely decoupled from the debt economy and has no bearing on reality whatsoever. Record level debts? Stocks rise. Thousands laid off due to lack of industry demand? Stocks rise. For the people in the stock market economy the possibilities are endless because they have the God of the new world on their side, they have access to CAPITAL! For the rest of us left languishing in the debt economy there has been no economic recovery and it seems the bad times are here to stay, as it is purposely designed to be.

Inequality

inequality

The wealth of Britain’s wealthiest has jumped 15% in one year, how can that be? Well it is because they aren’t on zero hour minimum wage contracts. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 closed 2013 with RECORD closing highs. It was the best year for the Dow since 1995 as it rose 26.5%. The S&P 500 closed the year up 29.6%, its best yearly closeout since 1997. The Dow closed at RECORD HIGHS 52 TIMES in 2013. The FTSE 100 closed the year up 14.5% and the FTSE 250 has finished up 29%. In January I wrote this, turns out I was right:

“What this means is that for some 2013 has been one hell of a year, an absolutely blinding year on the old financial front. If you’ve got a friend who’s got a friend, who is preferably a member of government or in public office then you are going to get spoon fed money in the form of great deals like the privatization of the Royal Mail which was sold greatly and suspiciously under value.”

Now I am in no way against wealth, I wish everybody was wealthy. I’m in no way against entrepreneurship, if you are a bright person with a great idea then you should be allowed to develop it and reap the rewards. That is why I respect men like James Dyson, a wealthy man who is living a great life on the fruits of his work. But what I am dead against is class warfare and fraud. We are living in times where a two tier society is being created, if it hasn’t already been created. When the majority of the world’s population is drowing in debt to crooked banks and the world’s 85 richest people have more wealth than the poorest 3.5 billion people combined there is something drastically wrong. We live in a world where 85 people have a combined worth of $1 TRILLION whilst thousands of people die each day because they have no food and water.

The world is operated under a fraudulent and corrupt finance system, the men and women who crashed the world’s economy are living better than ever before. They have not gone to jail for their crimes.  We have the mega wealthy who oversee an army of wage slaves. But the wage slaves are happy because they have bread and circuses, Nando’s and X-Factor. A very telling sign of the times for me was the fact that four new entries in the rich list were the people behind Candy Crush Saga with fortunes of hundreds of millions of pounds. Whilst the world’s wealth is sucked into the pockets of a small minority the wage slaves are happy wasting their time in unproductive ways playing addictive yet ultimately pointless games. We argue over which sham government we want next to sell public assets to private companies and then we go and watch football.

Rat Race

rat

Education is key to get ourselves out of the rat race, we need to learn to play the game:

“If you look at the life of the average-educated, hard working person, there is a similar path. The child is born and goes to school. The proud parents are excited because the child excels, gets fair to good grades and is accepted into college. The child graduates, maybe goes to graduate school and then does exactly as programmed: looks for a safe, secure job or career. The child finds the job, maybe as a doctor or a lawyer, or joins the army or works for the government. Generally the child begins to make money, credit cards start to arrive in mass, and the shopping begins, if it hasn’t already. Having money to burn the child goes to places where other young people just like them hang out and they meet people, they date and sometimes they get married. Life is wonderful now because both men and women work. Two incomes are bliss. They feel successful, their future is bright and they decide to buy a house, a car, a television, take vacations and have children. The happy bundle arrives. The demand for cash is enormous. The happy couple decides that their careers are vitally important and begin to work harder seeking promotions and raises. They work harder; become better employees, even more dedicated. They go back to school to get more specialised skills so they can earn more money. Their incomes go up but so does their tax bracket they’re in and the real estate taxes on their new large home, and all the other taxes. They get their large pay check and wonder where all the money went; they buy their shopping on credit cards. The children reach 5 or 6 years old and the need to save for college increases as well as the need to save for their retirement.  That happy couple born 35 years ago is now trapped in the rat race for the rest of their working days. They work for the owners of their company, for the government paying taxes and for the bank paying off a mortgage and credit cards. Then they advise their own children to study hard, get good grades, and find a safe job or career. They learn nothing about money, except from those who profit from their naiveté, and work hard all their lives”-Robert Kiyosaki

The whole world is on the path to oblivion in the name of greed, the future is looking dreary for many because a select few want all the sunshine for themselves. We are on a road that is unsustainable and unless we want to experience the chaos that has befallen Ukraine we need to change our course. I once saw a meme that said “The rich of the world check your Rolex’s, the time of revolution is upon us”. It may have been correct.

Extraordinary Popular Delusions and The Madness of Crowds

10/03/2014

This is the title of a book published by Charles Mackay in 1841 that I started reading over the weekend. I’ve only read about a quarter of the book and already it has been very interesting. The book shows how as a collective we humans are in fact quite stupid. We never learn from our mistakes. We continue to fall for the same tricks over and over again. What do I mean? Well I well let the words of the book tell it for me:

“Louis XIV. died in 1715, and the heir to the throne being an infant only seven years of age, the Duke of Orleans assumed the reins of government, as regent, during his minority. Law now found himself in a more favourable position. The tide in his affairs had come, which, taken at the flood, was to waft him on to fortune. The regent was his friend, already acquainted with his theory and pretensions, and inclined, moreover, to aid him in any efforts to restore the wounded credit of France, bowed down to the earth by the extravagance of the long reign of Louis XIX.”- Page 9

“When Law presented himself at court he was most cordially received. He offered two memorials to the regent, in which he set forth the evils that had befallen France, owing to an insufficient currency, at different times depreciated. He asserted that a metallic currency, unaided by a paper money, was wholly inadequate to the wants of a commercial country, and particularly cited the examples of Great Britain and Holland to shew the advantages of paper. He used many sound arguments on the subject of credit, and proposed as a means of restoring that of France, then at so low an ebb among the nations, that he should be allowed to set up a bank, which should have the management of the royal revenues, and issue notes both on that and on landed security. He further proposed that this bank should be administered in the king’s name, but subject to the control of commissioners to be named by the States-General.”- Page 11

This is the beginning of the tale of John Law and the Mississippi Bubble. The Mississippi bubble was the same as all the other artificial stock bubbles that came after it right up to the housing bubble that popped in 2008 and brought so much economic misery to the entire world. These two passages show how men get themselves into positions of power and then abuse their positions. It shows how paper currency always ends with bad news:

“Thus the system continued to flourish till the commencement of the year 1720. The warnings of the parliament, that too great a creation of paper money would, sooner or later, bring the country to bankruptcy, were disregarded.”- Page 20

Whilst this was going on in France a similar scenario was unfolding in Great Britain with the South-Sea Company. Just like today, and just like throughout the whole of history no doubt, the people ignored the warnings that were given to them:

“Exchange Alley was in a fever of excitement. The company’s stock, which had been at a hundred and thirty the previous day, gradually rose to three hundred, and continued to rise with the most astonishing rapidity during the whole time that the bill in its several stages was under discussion. Mr. Walpole was almost the only statesman in the House who spoke out boldly against it. He warned them, in eloquent and solemn language, of the evils that would ensue. It countenanced, he said, “the dangerous practice of stock-jobbing, and would divert the genius of the nation from trade and industry. It would hold out a dangerous lure to decoy the unwary to their ruin, by making them part with the earnings of their labour for a prospect of imaginary wealth. The great principle of the project was an evil of first-rate magnitude; it was to raise artificially the value of the stock, by exciting and keeping up a general infatuation, and by promising dividends out of funds which could never be adequate to the purpose.” In a prophetic spirit he added, that if the plan succeeded, the directors would become masters of the government, form a new and absolute aristocracy in the kingdom, and control the resolutions of the legislature. If it failed, which he was convinced it would, the result would bring general discontent and ruin upon the country. Such would be the delusion, that when the evil day came, as come it would, the people would start up, as from a dream, and ask themselves if these things could have been true. All his eloquence was in vain. He was looked upon as a false prophet, or compared to the hoarse raven, croaking omens of evil. His friends, however, compared him to Cassandra, predicting evils which would only be believed when they came home to men’s hearths, and stared them in the face at their own boards.”- Page 30

“Several peers spoke warmly against the scheme; but their warnings fell upon dull, cold ears. A speculating frenzy had seized them as well as the plebeians. Lord North and Grey said the bill was unjust in its nature, and might prove fatal in its consequences, being calculated to enrich the few and impoverish the many. The Duke of Wharton followed; but, as he only retailed at second-hand the arguments so eloquently stated by Walpole in the Lower House, he was not listened to with even the same attention that had been bestowed upon Lord North and Grey. Earl Cowper followed on the same side, and compared the bill to the famous horse of the siege of Troy. Like that, it was ushered in and received with great pomp and acclamations of joy, but bore within it treachery and destruction. The Earl of Sunderland endeavoured to answer all objections; and on the question being put, there appeared only seventeen peers against, and eighty-three in favour of the project. The very same day on which it passed the Lords, it received the royal assent, and became the law of the land.”- Page 31

“And thus, to use the words of the Parliamentary History, were seen, in the space of eight months, the rise, progress, and fall of that mighty fabric, which, being wound up by mysterious springs to a wonderful height, had fixed the eyes and expectations of all Europe, but whose foundation, being fraud, illusion, credulity, and infatuation, fell to the ground as soon as the artful management of its directors was discovered.”- Page 42

“During the progress of this famous bubble, England presented a singular spectacle. The public mind was in a state of unwholesome fermentation. Men were no longer satisfied with the slow but sure profits of cautious industry. The hope of boundless wealth for the morrow made them heedless and extravagant for to-day. A luxury, till then unheard-of, was introduced, bringing in its train a corresponding laxity of morals. The over-bearing insolence of ignorant men, who had arisen to sudden wealth by successful gambling, made men of true gentility of mind and manners blush that gold should have power to raise the unworthy in the scale of society.”- Page 42

That last line is so important I feel because it is where we are at today, we have ignorant men in positions of great power and influence. The money masters continue to drag the world down the sewer as we continue to play the game of life by the rules they created. The sad thing is that if history is our teacher, this book tells us that we are likely to continue to be led from one disaster to another. Always on the brink of ruin whilst a select minority profit from the pain of the masses.

The Hypocrisy of The World

05/03/2014

“And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and they say ‘Hey! Don’t worry, don’t be afraid- ever- because this is just a ride’. And we…. kill those people. ‘’Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride! Shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry; look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real.’ It’s just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that- ever notice that?- and we let the demons run amok. But it doesn’t matter, because…it’s just a ride, and we can change it any time we want. It’s only a choice. No effort. No worry. No job. No savings and money. Just a choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy bigger guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one. Here’s what we can do to change the world, right now, into a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defence each year and, instead, spend it feeding, clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would do many times over- not one human being excluded- and we can explore space together, both inner and outer, forever. In peace.” – Bill Hicks

I was reading through the day’s news last night and was recapping on the events in Ukraine when the hypocrisy of the government of the USA and the UK really hit me. I understand that we are all naturally hypocrites to a degree because our views and opinions often change depending on our mood or what stage we are at in our character development. But the level of hypocrisy which currently runs through every aspect of our daily lives is astounding. I asked myself why do we allow this happen and allow its effects to seep into all aspects of our lives?  What do I mean by this? Well our governments are corrupt, our justice system is criminal, our banks are the biggest fraudsters and our “Holy Men” are paedophiles. Michael Ellner takes it one step further:

“Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom.”

Why do we take this? Why do we accept that this is the way things should be when a better world is so easily available if we want it? There is a line in the film American Gangster which goes like this, “the most important thing in business is honesty, integrity, hard work, family, never forgetting where we came from.” Change business to life and you have a pretty solid foundation of which you can base your actions on. However the modern world does not respect these qualities, these qualities will hold you back. You want to make it big in the world? Then you had best forget honesty. Our “leaders” are the biggest liars in the world yet they are also the most respected people in society, granted that respect is declining with every day that passes at a rapid rate.

Integrity? The world has forgotten the meaning of the word! There is no integrity in the dog eat dog, jungle society that has been created in our pursuit of the made up illusion we call money. Integrity in the modern world keeps you held down at the bottom. How many people sacrifice who they are and compromise their integrity in order to hold down a job so they can survive? How many people bite their tongues when it comes to speaking out against the countless injustices of this world so they don’t jeopardise their current employment situation? The answer is almost everyone. Look at the celebrities so many people adore. The Kardashian’s, famous from a sex tape. Towie, famous for being as thick as pig shit. Where is the integrity in what these people do and where is the self-respect in worshipping their every move? When you find it do let me know.

Hard work. Yes a fundamental if you want to get anywhere in life. But you had best be prepared for your hard work to go unappreciated and unrewarded. Slaves do work very hard, there can be no doubt about that. Everybody I know works hard yet they are always stuck in a rut, always a paycheque away from oblivion. Why is that? It is because that is how the money masters want it to be:

“People are only mean when they’re threatened and that’s what our culture does. That’s what our economy does. Even people who have jobs in our economy are threatened, because they worry about losing them. And when you get threatened, you start looking out only for yourself. You start making money a god. It is all part of this culture”- Morris Schwartz

Family. The family unit. The what unit? Family does not exist anymore. How many families are still together? I would say 2 out of every 10 people have parents who are still together and the family unit is complete, the country is littered with broken homes. The family has long been under attack ever since mum was made to feel she wasn’t a real woman unless she had a high flying career. Forget children, forget making sure they have enough love, care and education to survive in this world, just make sure you get to the top of that greasy pole known as the career ladder:

“We live in a society where women are demonised for having children in their teens when they are biologically meant to have them but there is no such stigma for women having children via IVF in their 40s. This is because what we see as the defining factor in bringing up a happy child is whether you have money, not whether you are still young enough to engage in play, or have the energy to love them properly. Still, you can use the money to hire some teenage girl. “Tommy! We’ve hired  someone who’s fun, we’ve hired somebody who likes you” and she can play with them while you look on exhaustedly with a mug of tea”- Frankie Boyle

Men come under attack too. So many men throw away their families these days instead of being the protectors and figurehead. I can’t prove this for sure but I would say deep down there are many unhappy people walking this land because their family has been completely and utterly destroyed.

And finally never forgetting where we can from. It seems so many of us can’t wait to forget where we came from. What happens in the rare instances when a person from a working class background does happen to beat the maze and does escape to financial freedom, do they lower the ladders and help the people below them up to their level? Nope they pull the ladder and they turn their backs on their roots to rub shoulders with the rich, the only people worthy of their time now.

I for one have had enough of this hypocritical system. I will tolerate it no longer. In all the recent talk of war people forget we are already in the middle of a huge war, the class war. Well I say they forget, most people aren’t even aware it is happening. They don’t realise this because we are victims of divide and conquer, which is pitting the poor against the poorer.

What does it matter if you are working your whole life away for a pittance to pay off debts and keep the wolves, aka the banks at bay. Or if you rely on a government hand outs from a government that is also heavily in debt to the same banks. What is the real difference? The difference is that the people who work for the pittance like to think they are better than the poor people when in actual fact we are all victims. We are all repressed, you and I do not come into contact with the people who truly benefit from this system, the truly wealthy move in circles that none of us get even close to. Their wealth is created off the back of our suffering and misery. When are we going to change this way of life?

Benefits Street aka Social Engineering

20/02/2014

“We have it seems shut the poor out of our minds and driven them from the mainstream of our society. We have allowed the poor to become invisible, and we have become angry when they make their presence felt. But just as nonviolence has exposed the ugliness of racial injustice, we must now find ways to expose and heal the sickness of poverty- not just its symptoms but its basic causes”- MLK

It was the final instalment of Benefits Street on Monday evening followed by an hour long live “debate”. I’m not sure you could call it a debate, it was more like a room full of people with Richard Bacon trying to stir up controversy every 15 seconds. The main theme of the debate was that people need to go back to work. But what work do they mean exactly? What work is there for poor, uneducated people? It’s zero hour contract, minimum wage jobs. It is poor people who have taken the brunt force of media attention and the consequential opinions of the public. It is the poor who are paying the price of a “financial crisis” caused by the greed of bankers.

It is not the poor people of this country who need to be attacked, it is the whole system in which education is broken, that sees war and military budgets more valuable than its citizens. How many times was the greed induced, man-made financial crisis mentioned during this debate? I heard it mentioned twice very briefly but it was never a main talking point. The poor are an easy target, I mentioned this in the previous article I wrote about Benefits Street. The media are playing on peoples natural feelings, stirring up anger and hate on the basis that whilst you are at work these people are sat at home doing nothing apart from drinking beer whilst watching Jeremy Kyle congratulating themselves on living the dream.

These poor people are living no dreams. They are trapped in the environment that is designed to keep them exactly where they are. It’s easy for someone who’s start in life was not from this type of environment to look down their noses, they do not know the hardships that come with the burden of being poor in a world of abundance. I am from this place, I know how it feels, it feels like this:

“One of the reasons equality gets so deep in this country is that everyone wants to be rich. That’s the American ideal. Poor people don’t like talking about poverty because even though they might live in the projects surrounded by other poor people and have, like, 10 dollars in the bank, they don’t like to think of themselves as poor. It’s embarrassing. When you’re a kid, even in the projects, one kid will mercilessly snap on another kid over minor material differences, even though by American standards, they’re both broke as shit. The burden of poverty isn’t just that you don’t always have the things you need, it’s the feeling of being embarrassed every day of your life, and you’d do anything to lift that burden.”- Jay-Z

And just what about the rich? What about the 85 people which Oxfam reported has more wealth than the poorest 3.5 BILLION people of this world? Where do they fit into the picture? You see they take far more from you than a poor person ever will do. But they aren’t uneducated drug addicts, no they dress in three piece suits and drive Rolls Royce’s therefore they have your respect because you want to be just like them. These people don’t want you to be like them, they want you to be poor, they want to dominate you:

“How would the United States be changed, bit by bit, into the predicted highly controlled techno-society? Among the steppingstones Brzezinski expected were persisting social crises and use of the mass media to gain the public‘s confidence. Brzezinski apparently saw that both conservatives and “the doctrinaire left” might be inclined to justify heavy handed tactics. The left could say that it serves progress and the conservatives, preoccupied with public order and fascinated by modern gadgetry, would be tempted to use the new techniques as a response to unrest, since they would fail to recognise that social control is not the only way to deal with rapid social change. Even today, February 25th 1995, as we write these words, NBC Nightly News is announcing the widespread domestic surveillance of Americans and others, through the CIA’s and NSA’s monitoring and intrusion into the global Internet’s.”

We know what the NSA has been getting up to since 1995 from whistle-blowers like Edward Snowden and in that message you will notice how they say the influence of the mass-media is going to be crucial. The mass-media has been focusing its spotlight on the poor, that is all people ever talk about. Nobody will take up a conversation with me about the financial crash because they do not understand what happened but they will talk to me all night long if we are bashing the poor or talking immigration. Through mass-media talentless, moronic idiots from reality TV shows are idolised and adored by millions whilst the people who see past all the corruption & the bullshit trying to point out a better way of life are scorned and ignored by everyone. And under the radar of all this confusion plans to dominate unfold unopposed. And people wonder why everything is so messed up.

Financial Recovery or Financial Meltdown?

10/02/2014

In my very first article of the year titled The Great Recovery I mentioned how the stock markets finished 2013 at unsustainable highs that do not correlate with reality. It’s been a strange few weeks since then which has seen the Japanese stock market tumble, this erased $2.9 trillion from equity values worldwide. In the first days of January this year the IMF released a paper which warns of a “Savings Tax” and mass write off in debts as the current burden becomes unsustainable.

What that means in layman’s terms is that at some point in the near future the money masters are going to be coming directly for your money, just like they did in Cyprus, which in my opinion was a practice run for the main event. There are articles floating around online that say on February 15th/16th banks in Oklahoma and other US states are going to be having a “disaster recovery drill” during which time people will not be able to access their bank accounts or make any financial transaction. Debit cards and ATM machines will not work. Sound familiar?

If it doesn’t then it should because this has already happened several times in this country, Lloyds Banking group which includes Lloyds TSB, Bank of Scotland and Halifax have shut their systems down in the past. This has also occurred within the NatWest banking group and on both occasions the banks tried to put the problem down to the fact they had failed to invest properly in IT systems for decades. Pull the other one, how stupid do these banks think we are? We are supposed to believe that these bankers who are making so much money they can’t keep up with the hookers and cocaine, we are supposed to believe that they failed to keep their IT systems up to date? They failed to keep up to date the core division of their operations? That is like a football team saying they have forgot to bring their players to a match, it is nonsense.

What happened in Cyprus when the government suddenly announced they were going to be taking 10% of peoples savings on the orders of the money masters? The banking system completely shut down and people had no access to their money until it was agreed that 40% of people’s savings would be taken instead. What is going to happen in the UK and the US when they announce this? There is going to be chaos and there is going to be outrage. It has been reported that the USA has been purchasing large amount of riot gear and ammo and as we all know here in the UK there is going to be water cannons on the streets for the first time ever this summer.

There has been a spate of bankers suicides in the last week, high ranking bankers I might add too. Last week HSBC announced people cannot take large amounts out of their bank accounts unless it is for a specified reason. The whole financial/banking system is just as unstable as it was in 2008 when it was on the verge of collapse. China is flexing its muscles and has been responding to the currency war that is going on between them and the USA, once the USA fears it may be losing its grip on currency control it will revert to the only way it knows to cling on to control and that is through military might. I write this blog today not to spread fear and tell people the sky is falling and civilisation is going to collapse, the message today is the same as it always is, be vigilant! Pay attention to what is going on in the world around you, the real world around you, not the latest bullshit going on in the fake “celebrity” world put in front of us all as a distraction.

What Is Freedom?

05/02/2014

We are supposedly free people but just how free are we? And how long will our freedoms remain? In the book the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists one page says the men had their freedom, they were free to submit or starve. And that’s very much where we are at today in my opinion, people are free to be wage slaves working every hour God sends for a low wage of which 90% goes back to corporations or to other people. And all of this happens in a life that is under constant and immense strain. Is that really freedom?

In the past I have mentioned how we have two economies, we have the stock market economy where a small minority make immense amounts of money resulting in great prosperity and then we have the debt economy where the majority of people live as I’ve just described. And as these two economies drift further and further away from each other the disparity and inequality becomes more obvious and if you’re a person of principles and decency then it becomes harder and harder to just ignore. The fuel behind the stock market economy is the Federal Reserve and this week I read the speech of US politician Louis McFadden from 10th June 1932 where he opposed the Federal Reserve and I’m going to share a couple of passages now:

“Mr. Chairman, we have in this country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks. The Federal Reserve Board, a Government board, has cheated the Government of the United States and the people of the United States out of enough money to pay the national debt. This evil institution has impoverished and ruined the people of the United States, has bankrupted itself, and has practically bankrupted our Government. It has done this through the maladministration of that law by the Federal Reserve Board, and through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it. Some people think the Federal Reserve banks are United States Government institutions. They are not Government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign customers; foreign and domestic speculators and swindlers; and rich and predatory money lenders. In that dark crew of financial pirates there are those who would cut a man’s throat to get a dollar out of his pocket.”

“The men who ruled the Democratic Party in 1912 promised the people that if they were returned to power there would be no central bank established here while they held the reins of government. Thirteen months later that promise was broken, and the Wilson administration, under the tutelage of those sinister Wall Street figures who stood behind Colonel House, established here in our free country the worm-eaten monarchical institution of the “king’s bank” to control us from the top downward, and to shackle us from the cradle to the grave. It fastened down upon this country the very tyranny from which the framers of the Constitution sought to save us from. Thus the menace to our prosperity has indeed struck home. From the Atlantic to the Pacific our country has been ravaged and laid waste by the evil practices of the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve banks and the interests which control them. At no time in our history has the general welfare of the people of the United States been at a lower level or the mind of the people so filled with despair.”

“Recently in one of our States 60,000 dwelling houses and farms were brought under the hammer in a single day. According to Charles Coughlin, who has lately testified before a committee of this House, 71,000 houses and farms in Oakland County, Michigan, have been sold and their erstwhile owners dispossessed. Similar occurrences have probably taken place in every county in the United States. The people who have thus been driven out are the wastage of the Federal Reserve act. They are the victims of the dishonest Federal Reserve Board and Federal Reserve banks. Their children are the new slaves of the auction blocks in the revival here of the institution of human slavery.”

So there we have the truth regarding the Federal Reserve and the people behind it, laid bare for everyone to see all those years ago but just as happens today it went ignored. Do the people trapped in the debt economy look to change things? Change the system that enslaves them to create a brighter future for themselves and  future generations? No they aspire to be like the people in the Stock Market economy who can afford luxury items with ease, the ordinary man goes to the hilt in debt and credit to live a lie and emulate those that oppress them.

Oh you’ve got a BMW? You drive a Mercedes? Well you’re still a slave, your just under the illusion that you’re living slightly better than the other slaves, they sold you a dream and you bought it. And what happens in the quest to obtain all these materialistic items? In most cases people destroy everything that matters and they lose the treasures they had all along, i.e. the people you love and love you back. You lose them in the process and then what? What are you left with then? You’re probably left living with a wide eyed whore in a big old house devoid of soul and love but full of designer gear.
