The Truth Is Out, Yet Still We Ignore It

Yesterday I had the shock of my life when I saw a mainstream media article in The Guardian telling us the truth about money, that our lives are governed by IOUs. Granted it was in the comment is free section so it was an opinion column rather than the official line, but still progress is progress. The article came on the back of a paper released last week by the Bank of England called Money Creation In The Modern World in which they admit money is a fiat currency with no intrinsic value other than the one given to it through our beliefs i.e. if everybody on the planet woke up tomorrow and decided the notes in are pockets were worthless pieces of paper then that is exactly what they would be. It is our belief that gives our money value. It is this belief that underpins the whole crooked system that dominates our lives. Granted the system used to work just fine but through the relentless greed of the men and women who operate this system they have destroyed it. The game changed forever when the banks were bailed out in 2008.

We operate under Fiat currency, along with our belief in the currency it is only “valuable” because it is backed by the word of government. If this backing was suddenly taken away then you would have a whole lot of nothing. The pieces of paper in your pockets are promissory notes, not money.

This originates from medieval Europe when goldsmiths offered safekeeping facilities to merchants and the general public to keep their coins and valuables safe. Any coins deposited for safekeeping with goldsmiths were acknowledged with a note promising to pay out an equivalent sum on return of the note. Provided that the goldsmiths name was trusted in the area where they operated holding a goldsmith’s note became considered to be as good as having the actual coins in hand. As a result people began to accept the promissory notes as money, in place of the actual coins, and they would rarely come back to the bank to withdraw the coins themselves.

Having noticed that their notes were now being used to trade in place of coins and that the bulk of coins deposited in their vaults were never taken out, the goldsmiths saw a profit opportunity. They could issue and lend additional promissory notes in the form of loans and charge a rate of interest on the loan. The goldsmiths had managed to create a substitute for money and in the process became the first form of banks.

Coming back to the modern world the US dollar is created by the central bank of the United States, the Federal Reserve, which despite the deceptive Federal title is a private banking cartel consisting of 12 Federal Reserve banks which are ran by a seven member board of governors who oversee the 12 district banks and sets the national monetary policy of the USA, thus effectively setting the monetary policy of the world. The Sterling Pound is created by the printing presses of the Bank of England.  I have written an extensive piece previously on this topic titled The “System” & How It Operates- The Federal Reserve.

There are a lot of people like myself who have figured out the financial system is one big sham and will no longer have their lives dictated by lies and deceit. There are people like Ross Longhurst, a 72 year old former university lecturer from Nottingham who was this week jailed for 28 days because he refused to pay a council tax bill of £1028 after his council was forced to make £25.5m worth of cuts. Mr Longhurt said he was prepared to go to prison for his cause to show solidarity with the victims of austerity measures, when he was in the dock in court he encouraged everyone in the room not to pay their council tax. This man is a hero, he said:

“These cuts particularly impact on poor people. We live in a country where the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. I will have to do the time. I’m prepared to do it because I have made a stand on the matter and I will have to see it through”

Once you see the economic game is a lie you will find it very hard to do what you do day in and day out. I plead to you, do your research. Read, listen to podcasts, watch informative videos, get yourself up to scratch on the fraud that dominates your life. I have written another piece today titled Silent Weapons for a Quiet War, read it. Learn the tactics that are being played against you and then make your own game plan.

The only way to deal with an un-free world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion, so said Albert Camus. For the last two years I have taken this stance, I have depleted my savings because I refuse to be a part of the current system, we need everybody to do this. I’m at the point now where I would rather become an outlaw than re-join the system because ultimately the system only works because you work. We are coming to boiling point and something will have to give sooner or later.
